David Blaine, Magician or Minion?

David Blaine was on TV last night performing his latest “magical” stunt.  Of course he survived and all went well, but until they finally cut him down, the program had clips of David taking it to the streets to perform magic for average Joes and Jills.

In one clip he took pictures of people with a cell phone and then slapped the back phone (which always belonged to a bystander) on the front of a dollar bill and the image from the phone appeared on the face of George Washington.

In another clip he asked people for random numbers and then pulled a Powerball ticket out of his wallet with the exact numbers the seemingly random people shouted out to him.  Of course, people always freaked out.  Some would run away screaming.  Some would just laugh.  Some would curse and stomp and smile and declare that “David Blaine is the s*it.”

My question to all my readers (all one or two of you) is, do you think David Blaine is a magician or a minion of Satan?    I’ve seen him ask someone to think of a name and then it appears scratched (before our eyes), into his arm with seemingly no one scratching.  I’ve seen him pull things out of his eyeball that he has swallowed.  I mean, is this simply an illusion or is old DB involved in a little devil worship?  Is he the greatest street magician ever who has implemented some of the weirdest illusions to hit the mainstream since Houdini or is he a lover of the dark lord who has sold his soul for the ability to creep people out?  Seriously, HOW DOES HE DO THIS?

Now, before I get de-bookmarked or blocked from your blogs, please know that I am (mostly) kidding.  I don’t really think David Blaine is a Satan worshipper, but I do think he’s creepy.  Very creepy.  On the creepy-meter, he is off the scale for me.  Snakes and David Blaine…my two greatest phobias.  Check out the video below and decide for yourself…magician or minion?
